When booking your course you also have the possibility to book accommodation. Either you can choose to book your own student room, to live in a shared apartment with other language students or to live with a host family. Living with a host family is great if you truly want to get to know the culture in the country you visit and further learn the language you’re studying.

Living in a German host family is the best and most interesting way to learn the German language and to get an insight into the German culture and way of living. This is why most of our students choose to be accommodated with families. The host may be a family with children, an older couple or a single person. Our students share the bathroom and kitchen with their hosts. Internet is normally offered from the host, but exceptions occur.
You can choose to get meals provided by the host family. You choose if you only wish to have breakfast or both breakfast and dinner. Bed linen and towels are provided. Room may be shared with another student.
Price/week: €160 (breakfast included)
Dinner extra charge/week: €60
Additional charge for single room/week: €40
$210 per week 2 meals (breakfast and evening meal)
Homestay is the accommodation of choice for most of our students since it provides you with your own room and two meals a day. It also provides you with a unique Canadian experience. Living with a host family can be a wonderful part of your stay with us in Montréal. It is a chance to become involved with the community in which you have chosen to study. Although it can seem a little daunting at the beginning, with an open mind and a positive attitude, the experience will be a memorable one. Your host is there to support you in a new environment and will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. However, do keep in mind that a homestay is neither a hotel nor a boarding house. It is your home away from home, and you are a member of the household. Therefore, always try to respect the rules set by your host and have consideration for the people you are living with.
Homes are located not more than 45 minutes from the school by bus and subway so students have easy access to activities in Montréal.
You can request to live in a French, English, or bilingual family. A $200 registration fee is added to the price.
Prices vary between $1,500 – $2,000 (Please contact us for a more information)
Furnished apartments are available for students wishing to live on their own or with a friend. The fully furnished apartments are located in and around the downtown Montréal area. The rent includes all the basic amenities as well as bedding, dishes, a hair dryer, an alarm clock, and an iron. The rent varies according to the size of the apartment and the season in which you are renting, so please contact us to verify prices.
There are several apartment options available:
A studio apartment is comprised of a kitchen and sleeping area all in one room. The bathroom is usually just off the one room. A studio is comfortable for one person or possibly two people who know each other very well. In the apartment, there is a double bed and it may be possible to request a sofa bed (a pull-out bed).
A 2 ½ apartment has a small alcove for the bed. This is not a closed room, but it adds a little privacy to the sleeping quarters. There is also a kitchen area and a bathroom.
A 3 ½ apartment has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a living area with sofa bed, a kitchen and a bathroom.
A $200 registration fee is added to the cost.
